Information overload! (C1;CD4)

Is too much knowledge a bad thing?

Have been reading up today on things to improve our cycles of TTC and there is information all over the place. Nonetheless, I am one to try anything as I want to make our journey a short one, even if it means having to pull out all the stops along the way.

Found out that clomid can produce hostile mucous and so to avoid that, there are various things that are suggested:
  • 10-15ml of Robitussen (or any cough medicine contained Expectorant as the main active ingredient) - this aids to thin the cervical mucous (CM) as it does with any phlemy coughs (just in a different place!). Although I've seen various places telling me different things, I think I will take it 4 days before ovulation (DBO) and 2 days post ovulation (DPO).
  • Evening Primrose Oil - supposed to increase quality and quantity of CM if taken from CD1-2DPO
  • Green Tea and Grapefruit Juice - taken daily
  • Asprin - around 100mg on days 4 DBO - 2 DPO; apparently controls acidity in the uterus thus aiding in implantation.

I have also read that Zinc is supposed to help improve sperm levels and quality as well, so I might find some Zinc tablets for DH. Vitamin C also aids Zinc absorbtion so I will also add that into the equation as well.

Well, here's to trying anything!

Until next time...
